Restoring the World: Yin Principles in Body, Mind and Culture
August 4, 2019 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
For a long time, yang has been winning: dominance over nature, competition between each other, growth at all costs. It’s go-go-go all the time. Overly yang systems are taxing for our nervous systems, adrenal glands, mental health; damaging to our families, and to the biggest family of all, the earth and our ecologies. In this class, we will focus on softening: Receiving the gifts we have been given. Receiving the inhale. Allowing for spaciousness. Allowing for silence. Allowing for true creativity and lush intimacy. Designing our own lives and our social structures for less pushing and more dancing. Includes asana, writing, music. Interactive. Bring a pen and a journal.
